Iran's disabled climber conquers Europe's highest peak

TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (MNA) – Iran's disabled climber has made it to the summit of Elbrus—the highest peak in Europe.

Sajjad Salarvand could climb Mt. Elbrus, which is 5,650 meters high.

Despite being disabled, the 41-year-old athlete conquered the mountain.

Russian Mountaineering Federation has presented the Golden Axe award to the sportsman.
